What we do together.

To get the best out of camping, anywhere, sharing the duties is just part of getting to know your fellow travelers. Two people per day will help with cooking etc, and two with the cleaning up afterwards. Each person will help with the setting up of the camp, best done in two's and the packing up of the campsite. This makes for a speedy arrival and departure. Instruction will be given on the equipment and in no time you will take it all in your stride.

Volcano Warning

Like any active volcano, Tofua has its risks. The terrain can be rough and delays are always possible. Landing on the island is difficult and the footing slippery. Good walking footwear is a must, along with a small daypack to carry your water, snacks, etc. A reasonable standard of fitness is essential.
