Terms and Conditions
Mariners Camping Tours Contract
We at Mariners Camping Tours undertakes to perform all services with reasonable care and skill. We will not be liable for any loss or damage, which results from taking part in these services. We have exercised all care to ensure the information is correct, accurate and up to date. We can not be held responsible for loss, damage, or disruptions outside our control. This includes any act of God, weather disruptions, breakdowns of vehicles, boats or equipment, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, or epidemics. We act only as a booking agent for Guesthouse accommodation and cannot be held responsible for actions beyond our control. All persons (hereafter called the client) will be bound by the conditions which follow.
Responsibility
All services are organized by Mariners Camping Tours. Notice is hereby given that all arrangements made on behalf of clients on the sole condition that the organizers shall not be held responsible for any death, injury accident, delay loss, damage or irregularity. Mariners Camping Tours acts as agent for transport companies, Guesthouses and other contractors and shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or regularity that may occur, including, but not limited to, any defect in boats, vehicles, or any other form of transport conveying a passenger, acts of God, detention, delays, or expenses arising from quarantine, strike, theft, civil disturbance, government restriction or regulations, accident by aircraft, boat, bicycle, motor vehicle or any other form of transport or in any accommodation or guesthouse, tent or other form of accommodation.
Deposit
A Deposit of NZ$200 per person, is required to hold all confirmed bookings. Full payment is required 15 days before the departure date, payable to "Mariners Camping Tours", by credit card. (Fax details to – Country code 676, Number 60374) or through "Western Union Money Transfer" to Mariners Camping Tours, Ha’apai, Tonga.

Cancellation by the Client
Any cancellation by a client can be faxed to Mariners Camping Tours Fax ( 676- 60374), or emailed to tongacamping@gmail.com The date on which the notice to cancel is received will determine the cancellation charges applicable. 50% of the full cost will be forfeited if cancellation is received up to 7 days of departure date. No refunds will be give if cancellation is received within 3 days of the departure. Please note that the Airline Company will not give refunds once we have purchased air tickets. (if they apply to your camping Tour.) Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.
Prices and Surcharges
All prices are correct to the best of our knowledge. Events beyond our control may result in price increases. Mariners Camping Tours reserves the right to pass on these charges if necessary. All quoted prices are in the currency stated and are subject to change until full payment has been received.
Insurance
The client is willing to accept full responsibility for Insurance which must cover personal accident, medical expenses, loss of effects, repatriation costs and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring to the client. It is strongly recommended that all clients have personal travel insurance.
There will be no refunds for unused services.
Complaints and Claims
If a client has a complaint against Mariners Camping Tours, they must first inform the Tour Guide whilst on the Camping Tour so an attempt can be made to rectify the matter. Any other or further complaint must be put in writing to, Mariners Camping Tours, C/- Post Office, Pangai, Ha'apai, Tonga, within 14 days of completing the Camping Tour.
Governing Law
Any claim or complaint shall be considered according to the laws of The Kingdom of Tonga and each party irrevocably submits itself to the exclusive jurisdiction of The Kingdom of Tonga Courts in respect of any proceedings arising out of, or relating to such a claim or complaint.
